Home to six independent street food kitchens, two bars, a coffee kiosk and a large private event space, located in the beautiful surroundings of Orchard Square, next to some of the city’s most loved independent businesses and high street favourites. 

We founded Sheffield Plate in 2021, with a goal to turn a vacant retail space into a bustling community food hall that celebrates all things food, drink, people and champions local talent.  

Now five years on, and dubbed Sheffield's friendliest food hall, we pride ourselves on being a welcoming place to eat, drink and spend time together - whether you’re grabbing a quick lunch, meeting friends, or discovering your next favourite local food spot.

Showcasing food from across the globe in only six kitchens is no mean feat, but we've managed to do just that. Greek is the most recent addition to our line-up, alongside an American style burger vendor and a Korean/Japanese fusion kitchen. Half of our food partners have been with us from opening, which we think is pretty awesome - including a local favourite South American street food vendor, a Sri Lankan vendor and a well-renowned Thai food kitchen. 

Since opening, we have continued to evolve our offering, building a purpose-designed bar on the main floor and opening a unique events space downstairs, complete with its own private bar and facilities. Fully accessible and flexible in its use, the space is ideal for private parties, corporate events, community gatherings and celebrations of all kinds.​

We host regular events (quizzes, music, salsa, comedy clubs and more!) and throughout the year put on family friendly events and kids eat free every holiday! Plus - we're dog friendly. What's not to love?
